What can UK fans expect from Blessed By A Broken Heart's headline tour starting tonight? ''Smoke ,lasers, and breakdancing for starters,'' admits frontman Tony Gambino. This from the band that thinks they have gone too far every time they write new material and this from a band whose goals for the next twelve months are to ''get the record out , do a sweet video and tour the world.''
The new record 'Pedal To The Metal' sounds like camaros, lasers, Journey and zoobaz (not our words) and the band are promising to play ''at least four or five new songs each night.''
The band also promise to play the crowd favourite 'Mic Skillz', a song that was an accident and written on a whim. ''We were in studio and we finished the album,'' recalls Gambino. ''But the record label said we needed four more minutes on the CD so we just freestyled a stupid song to put at the end of the album, we thought it was funny so we put it right in the middle of the CD. The funny thing is is that it became our most
popular song but it took about four minutes to write and record.''
